Students who did not choose to take such classes should understand that a lot of these styles and genres will come in handy in their future careers and outside of the classroom.There are five most common styles that are used in college writing: Narrative, Appendices, Research, Analysis, and Discussion. Each style has its own advantages and disadvantages and should be understood well. Taking a writing-intensive class will help students learn which style they should be using depending on the purpose of the paper.Many students choose to write a paper on a topic that has been covered earlier. They will then create a summary and introduction to the theme that was covered in the previous topic. By doing this, they can build on what they know and will probably find many other parts of the paper.Students who decide to take a writing-intensive class in college writing will generally need to research to find their idea for the paper. In order to do this, they must rea d about the topic and see how others have presented it. Then they will create their own introduction, study section, conclusion, and conclusions.This will require students to learn about the basics of research, analysis, and writing. When a student decides to take a writing-intensive class, he or she must ask for guidance from their professor. He or she can also seek advice from their professor or counselor.
